Yesterday was a workday at The World's Greatest Place to Live. The yard and house are not always a priority, neglected for other activities. I sent out an email plea earlier in the month asking ones to be available to work at the house. Graciously, each of the older ones showed up for part of the day to lend a hand. We even had two of our 'adopted daughters' contribute time. The mower is running again, the grass is cut, the peas have a trellis, the beds have been weeded, raked and mulched, the patio is not growing things, the mailbox is not overgrown and the carport is cleared. :) These are just some of the things that were worked on. Then Carrie fixed a fantastic supper. I am so grateful for all that was done. And we all had a great time doing it. Thank you Paul, Daniel, Nina, Dudley, Carrie, Peter, Suzanna, Benjamin, David, Kip and Heidi. We are very blessed.
